Hi, my name is Maddy and I began working for The Eikon Charity in September 2008. Since training as a Social Worker at The University of Birmingham, I have been passionate about providing a holistic service to young people during their pivotal teenage years.
I work at both Bishop David Brown School, in Sheerwater and Fullbrook School in Addlestone. At these schools, I provide group work, mentoring and 1:1 appointments for young people experiencing emotional, behavioural and/or social difficulties. I hope through this support young people will be able to gain a better understanding of themselves and their difficulties, in turn helping them to develop effective coping strategies and reach their full potential in life.
