Vacancy - Director of Youth Work
Surrey | circa £34k.
Eikon is looking to appoint a full time Director of Youth Work to lead and develop Eikon’s Youth
Work Department in line with the strategic plan and to manage and be responsible for the
contract delivery and performance of Young People’s services directly or through partner
providers to meet targets and service standards.
Eikon is a dynamic, Surrey-based charity, focused on innovative early intervention programmes
which confront the social issues facing young people. Support is provided in the pivotal years,
with the aim of developing thriving and resilient young adults.
Knowledge and Experience Required includes:
- Significant demonstrable experience of successfully managing innovative Young People
services. - A recognised Level 6 (BA Hons) Youth Work/Young People services qualification or
equivalent. - Experience of/ ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders including senior
management, partner organisations and local government agencies. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present
information to a wide audience at all levels. - Clear and demonstrable commitment to the delivery of high quality services to Children
and Young People. - Clear understanding of the commercial implications of new business growth and the
requirement to develop cost effective solutions.
